Welcome to Port City Volleyball, where passion meets performance on the sands of Spring Hill College. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned pro, join us in celebrating our first season ever!

🔓 Membership Criteria (USAV, Genders, Ages)
If you’re a girl or boy between the ages of 10 and 18, Port City Volleyball is the place for you. Our club warmly welcomes junior players of all skill levels to join!
Please note that a USAV (USA Volleyball) membership is required for all our members. You can use the following link to register with Port City Volleyball on Sports Engine, whether you already have a membership or are looking to get one: Port City Volleyball – USAV Membership.

🙌 No partner? No problem!
Don’t let the absence of a playing partner discourage you from joining us this beach club season. Whether you come solo, with friends, or looking to team up with someone new, we’ve got you covered. Our inclusive environment welcomes all players, and we’re here to ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the game and make new connections.
🕒 Venue and Schedule
All evaluations, training sessions, and tournaments will be held at the Spring Hill College Jim and Betty Walsh Beach Volleyball Facility, located at 4000 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. The beach courts are situated at the south end of the Badger soccer facility at Library Field, adjacent to The Avenue of the Oaks.
- Evaluations & Parent Meeting:
📅 April 30th or May 2nd
⏰ U12 | 5:30 – 7:00 PM
⏰ U14 | 5:30 – 7:00 PM
⏰ U16 | 7:00 – 8:30 PM
⏰ U18 | 7:00 – 8:30 PM
🔍 Once you register, you’re all set for evaluations! We’ll organize evaluation times by age groups and send you an email with all the details. Please attend at least one of the evaluation days, but you’re welcome to attend both – they’re key for sorting out group assignments for regular training.
- Training Sessions:
📅 7 Weeks (May 7th – June 20th)
☀️ Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 5:30 – 7:00 PM or 7:00 – 8:30 PM
🔍 Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday, each with two sessions. Group One attends the 5:30 – 7:00 PM session, while Group Two joins from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. After evaluations, you’ll be assigned to your group.
- Tournaments:
☀️ Fridays, starting May 10th
💰 $50 Per Team
🔍 Tournament participation is optional but provides a great opportunity to showcase the skills you’ve been practicing. You’re free to team up with a partner from outside our club for any tournament. Additionally, entirely external club pairs are welcome, provided they have a USAV Membership. Please note that the number of participating teams will be limited and organized into age divisions.
Following evaluations before the season starts, you’ll receive an email with your assigned training session groups, which may vary based on player numbers. While tournaments are optional, we encourage all players to participate, putting their skills to the test and enjoying the spirit of competition!
🗓️ Registration and Payment Deadlines – Open Now!
Registration for Port City Volleyball is now available! Secure your spot by registering online or contacting one of our dedicated team members. Walk-up registrations are also welcome!
Joining Port City Volleyball is easy! Here are the important deadlines to keep in mind:
- Registration Deadline: May 3rd
While the final day for registration is the Friday of Evaluation Week (May 3rd), we strongly encourage you to register as soon as you can. Be sure to secure your spot before this date!
- Payment Deadline: May 10th
Full payments and initial payments (for those enrolled in the payment plan) are due by the Friday of the first week of training sessions (May 10th).

💰 Payment Plan Options:
With our convenient payment plan, you have the flexibility to pay the total club fee in two installments. Here’s how it works:
- First Installment: Due by May 10th.
Cost: $175
- Second Installment: Due halfway through the season, by May 28th.
Cost: $175
You can choose to make your payments either in cash or online. Simply select your preferred payment method – cash or online – during the registration process after selecting the payment plan.

🔍 Additional Considerations
While our club fees cover a range of essential services, please note that jerseys/t-shirts are not provided as part of the registration package. However, they will soon be available for purchase on our website for your convenience.
